The National Retail Association (NRA) is Australia’s largest and most representative retail industry organisation. The majority of Australia’s national retail chains rely on NRA for professional services and retail-specific advice across all Australian jurisdictions. The NRA offers retailers a ‘one-stop shop’ facility wherein they can access, from the same source, advice and information about most of their compliance issues, including employment law, training and workforce development, workplace health and safety, anti-discrimination, tenancy and leasing, shop trading hours, loss prevention, and consumer law. Additionally, the NRA is the only mainstream retail association which delivers retail-specific advice through dedicated in-house functional experts, most of whom are legally qualified and have considerable experience in interpreting and advising on retail compliance issues. The NRA is a not for profit organisation that develops and delivers services out of offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
