NRA SkillService
Creating a labour supply for Retail
The National Retail Association (NRA) is offering a new service in response to industry concerns for the availability of suitable staff in a range of occupational areas.
The NRA SkillService will provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for employers and will deliver a service in the recruitment, selection, employment and management of apprentices and trainees.
The Service will commence operation on 1st September 2008 and will provide companies access to motivated and enthusiastic staff to undertake traineeships and apprenticeships.
The NRA SkillService is a ‘one-stop shop’ for employers where you can access services such as recruitment, selection, employment and management of employees.
We specialise in the following areas;
The NRA SkillService will source and employ the apprentices and trainees and place them with host companies. After the initial induction period, the apprentices and trainees will work and receive on-the-job training at the host company (i.e. your business).
NRA SkillService is responsible for the total administration of the employment including, payment of wages, tax, workers' compensation, superannuation, sick days as well as arranging college and annual leave with NRA monitoring and administering all on-job and off-job training undertaken. NRA SkillService will even arrange for the Government to pay for the training that an apprentice or trainee receives.
It is so simple because NRA SkillService handles all the paperwork. In effect all you have to do is ensure that the monthly payment to NRA SkillService is made to cover the all the associated costs of the employee. No more hassles!
