About Us

Our Capability

The NRA has served the industry as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), operating since 1998. Additionally, the NRA provides an important advisory service to government regarding skilling, training and workforce development issues and needs.

From January 2010, our training has been delivered through the National Retail Institute, our wholely-owned training business. As a nationally registered RTO the the NRI has capacity to deliver training throughout Australia.

In today's tough marketplace, better trained and more satisfied staff is the key to maintaining a competitive edge. NRA employs passionate and highly skilled trainers who possess current retail, hospitality and business experience that instills a platform for quality training outcomes from which your staff can grow . The NRA offers training for Retailers, by Retailers. A large majority of our staff and trainers are still heavily involved in practical operations of the retail industry and the shop floor. This allows us to better understand the needs of your business.

With a range of flexible training options to suit a wide variety of workplaces, NRA specialises in industry specific vocational training through face-to-face, group, blended and on-demand training options. We also recognise that businesses have employees with many years experience and may have undergone prior training relevant to their job. The NRA can provide Training Solutions that enable previous experience and training to be recognised against nationally accredited training packages reducing traditional training time-frames while maintaining the motivation and enthusiasm of staff.
