Work Preparation Courses

Prior to the Labour shortage crisis, the NRA developed a range of pre-employment skills programs specifically designed to train and motivate various categories of job seekers to have current skills and knowledge to gain employment in the Retail Industry.

For the last five years, the NRA has been delivering these programs to priority population groups throughout Australia assisting job seekers to gain employment in the retail industry with an employment success rate averaging 73%.   The NRA has built a reputation throughout its members, clients, Job Networks and State based Government networks as having a "World Class Practice" in delivering accredited pre-employment pathways for job seekers wishing to gain employment in the retail, hospitality, aged care and services sectors. 

Over this time the NRA has been able to supplement labour needs of members and clients with trained staff to fill their employment vacancies with skilled workers.  This reputation has platformed the NRA to have significant pre-employment pathways to suit any enterprise's specific skills needs.

Courses range from 3 days to 12 weeks in duration working with a range of demographics considering the current Labour shortage needs of retailers and service providers.  With established and significant links with employers the NRA is able to provide a seamless transition for jobseekers into current vacancies.  The projects have been successful with the assistance of:
