2023 Easter and Anzac Day and Non-Exempt Trading Hour Restrictions

The National Retail Association (NRA) has updated our Easter and Anzac Day Public holidays and Non-Exempt Trading Hour Restrictions factsheet.

Our factsheet details a complete summary for each State and Territory, including changes that have recently been made in Western Australia and South Australia and whether you are entitled to trade during this period.

In addition, it is important to note the key differences for this upcoming Anzac Day on Tuesday, 25 April 2023 for Adelaide. The key difference with Anzac Day compared to most other public holidays is that the non-exempt shops that can trade on most public holidays must remain closed until 12 noon.
