Battery Recycling
Celebrate the free virtual launch of Australia’s official battery recycling Scheme!

Tuesday, 15 February 2022 | 10AM – 12PM AEST

Incredibly, in Australia, 90% of handheld batteries ends up in landfills. But the good news is, for each battery recycled, more than 95% of its materials can be remade into things we use every day. Most batteries have always been recyclable but the infrastructure has not been in place, until now. B-cycle combats one of the nation’s fastest-growing waste streams by bringing together people, businesses, and communities to make sure no more used batteries go to waste!

Join us for this significant moment in Australia’s recycling and product stewardship efforts. Hear from leading experts in this space alongside B-cycle’s official ambassador, Laura Wells, and understand how you can be a part of the shift too.
