Big Insights 3 1

Propel your business by implementing an influencer marketing strategy with authentic real people. With more and more companies opting for customer lead storytelling, consumers are no longer solely swayed by big celebrity endorsements.

Carefully selected individuals that align with your company’s values and beliefs can draw huge awareness and raise revenue for your brand.

Start small. This can mean simply asking your existing customers to share their experiences or asking popular bloggers to answer a quick Q&A for your website. Make sure you link out to your relevant products.

Paid influencer options don’t have to send you bankrupt and can draw in popular bloggers or Instagram personalities. Giving free trials, small to large discounts or vouchers where possible are another great way to draw in influencers who may already be purchasing your product.

Giving your product away for free may not seem like a great idea for most small businesses, however the revenue this buzz can create will be worth it in the long run.

Zappo’s VIP fashion found that offering a $300 voucher in shopping credits saw their top influencer generate $9000 in trackable revenue.

No matter how big or small you start, always remember to make sure you measure. This will help you determine which strategies are working and those you need to tweak.
