According to a recent survey conducted by American Express, there has never been a better time to grow your business. With the combination of accessible technologies, more options for funding and easier access to resources, the world is now a small businesses oyster.
Nikki Baird, industry analyst at RSR Research spoke at the 2016 NRF Big Show enlightening delegates with her top tips for growing your small retail business.
One of Nikki’s tips was the use digital channels to compete with the big guys. “When it comes to social media sites like Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest, small businesses can run with the big guys.”
“Don’t just hire your daughter’s friend to do your social media,” Baird said. “This is your opportunity to present your vision and what you stand for. You have to own the content.”
