The COVID-19 Business Support Grants have been extended to support businesses impacted by the closure of the Queensland-New South Wales border in recognition of the close connection between border communities.
You may be eligible to apply if your business or not-for-profit organisation:
- is located in the border business zone (find a map of eligible border region areas)
- experienced a reduction in turnover of at least 30% for a 7-day period anywhere from 14 August 2021 until border restrictions from within hotspots adjacent to the Queensland-New South Wales border are lifted
- all other COVID-19 Business Support Grant eligibility criteria continue to be met
- has not already received a COVID-19 Business Support Grant (for impacts of lockdowns).
