Did you miss the 30 June SuperStream deadline?

The Australian Tax Office recognises that some small businesses needed extra time to get ready so they are supporting you by extending the deadline.

You now have until 28 October 2016 to make the changes and be SuperStream ready.

There are a number of options a small business can choose to implement SuperStream:
• Using a payroll system that meets the standard
• A super fund’s online system
• A messaging portal
• A super clearing house like the ATO’s Small Business Super Clearing House (SBSCH).

Accountants and bookkeepers can provide expert SuperStream advice and can also help with one of these options.

The SBSCH is a free, optional service for small business with 19 or fewer employees, as well as businesses with an annual aggregated turnover of $2 million or less.
