Google Small business support

Google Australia has launched a small business support package including a new online digital skills training program, Google Ads grants, a new website and resource pack, and new product features.

With these resources, Google Australia is partnering with businesses in Australia to support them as they rebuild and recover from the economic impacts of COVID-19.

This announcement follows previous COVID-19 updates in March and April and responds to the more than doubling of demand Google Australia has seen for online digital skills training recently.

New ways for customers to support Australian small businesses

Google has announced new features in Google My Business to allow small businesses to add a donation link, gift card link or both to their profile so customers can continue supporting them.

Free online training by Google Australia

Grow with Google OnAir will feature free workshops for a range of audiences led by Google Australia trainers, with a bespoke small business workshop on 11 June. Registration is free.

New small business resource pack and website

Australian small businesses are invited to download the Google resource pack and visit a new online hub to help you navigate through COVID-19.

Google Ads grants

Australian small businesses, community organisations and government entities are benefiting from more than $20 million of Google Ads grants as part of Google’s global response to COVID-19.

Indigenous business support
