Nominations for the National Retail Association’s (NRA) 2016 Rewards for Excellence close this Friday 3 June.

Rewards for Excellence is a fantastic opportunity to go for gold and be recognised as a leader within the industry.

This awards program is considered amongst the highest of accolades and those that are nominated are deemed the best in their field.

This year will see the Young Retailer of the Year included in the awards line up to bring you the most anticipated retail awards event in Australia, like it was prior to 2008.
Winners will be announced at Rio themed gala dinner in Sydney on September 14.

Past nominees and finalists have acknowledged the nomination process as a valuable chance to reflect on current processes and goals within your organisation.

“The introspection the NRA Rewards for Excellence program provides is invaluable to the WHS function and is a thoroughly enjoyable process.” – Harris Scarfe – 2015 Safety Excellence Award winner.

Chris Wilesmith of Supercheap Auto, 2015 Large Retailer of the Year winner highlighted other benefits of participating in the rewards program, “The NRA awards are a fantastic opportunity to connect with other retailers and talk about opportunities and common challenges.”

Recognition within the industry for their dedicated team was icing on top of the cake for last years’ Medium Retailer of the Year winner, Nextra Chermside.

“I take enormous pride in these businesses and try to instil the same amount of enthusiasm in my 60+ staff. I use this NRA title as a way of reminding staff of the incredibly hard work that they put in to making Nextra Chermside what it is, doesn’t go unrecognised. What better recognition can you get than receiving this award from Australia’s largest and most representative retail industry organisations.” – Shannon Hickey.
