What are ‘pop-up stores’?

Pop-up stores, or flash retailing, is a term used to describe the trend of brands opening short-term retail spaces to test a concept or run a specific promotion.

While bricks-and-mortar retailers have been moving online, new online retailers are starting to value the benefits of physical storefronts. Pop-up stores can create an opportunity to engage with customers’ offline, test new revenue streams and create a unique experience for loyal customers.
